Mikhail is a partner at CYK, a dispute resolution boutique based in London. Mikhail’s practice focuses on international arbitration and litigation. He regularly advises on financial sanctions and acts in sanctions-related disputes. His other experience includes:

  • Disputes arising out of M&A transactions and complex shareholder conflicts.
  • Claims concerning assets in the emerging markets and the CIS.
  • Arbitrations conducted under the major arbitral institutions and rules, including LCIA, ICC, SCC and UNCITRAL. Additionally, Mikhail has extensive commodities arbitration experience (including FOSFA and GAFTA).

His sector experience includes manufacturing, metals and mining, oil and gas, retail, FinTech, media and financial services. Mikhail is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and holds the Institute’s Diploma in International Arbitration. Mikhail is a Solicitor Advocate. He is fluent in English and Russian and moderate in Greek. He is a citizen of the Republic of Cyprus.
