He undertakes a wide range of civil, commercial and corporate matters, and he regularly represents both local and international clients before the Cyprus Courts, mostly in complex cases with an international dimension and frequently as a member of a multi-jurisdictional legal team.

His practice encompasses all aspects of civil and commercial litigation, arbitration, fraud, shareholders’ disputes, winding-up petitions, asset tracing and without notice interim relief, as well as the protection of minority shareholders and the registration and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards.

Savvas is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Mediator for civil and commercial disputes. He has received remarkable client testimonials published in Legal 500 (EMEA) for his work, and he has authored and coauthored various publications in his area of expertise in other leading legal directories.

Alongside his role as a practitioner, Savvas is also a Ph.D. researcher in International Arbitration at the University of Cyprus and a member of the Society

of Legal Scholars. His current research focuses on the consensual nature of arbitration, in conjunction with the increasing complex nature of commercial disputes and the involvement of third parties.
