Sargis Grigoryan
Sargis Grigoryan is a civil- and common-law trained, trilingual lawyer with over 20 years of experience representing clients from the CIS region in complex international commercial and investment arbitration proceedings, with particular expertise in ICC and ICSID arbitration. Sargis regularly advises clients in court proceedings ancillary to arbitration and has extensive experience in the enforcement of arbitral awards and in addressing the impact of sanctions on arbitral proceedings.
He has significant experience in FIDIC Dispute Board proceedings on major infrastructure projects, advising on claim strategy, contractual compliance, and alignment with subsequent arbitral proceedings.
Sargis is a Member of the Panel of Arbitrators of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, nominated by the Republic of Armenia.
He holds degrees from Georgetown University Law Center, Stockholm University, and Uppsala University.
