
Polyvios Panayides
Polyvios Panayides is a partner at Chrysses Demetriades & Co. LLC in Limassol, Cyprus. He deals with litigation and arbitration proceedings covering a broad range of commercial and corporate disputes, civil fraud matters and EU & competition law. Most of his cases have an international dimension and often involve worldwide freezing and disclosure orders, complex jurisdictional issues and enforcement in Cyprus of arbitral awards & foreign judgments. Polyvios also advises and represents companies in regulatory investigations. Prior to joining Chrysses Demetriades, he worked in-house for 5 years with the Justice and Competition Directorate-Generals of the European Commission in Brussels. Polyvios graduated from the University of East Anglia (UK) and obtained an LL.M in European & Comparative law from the University of Maastricht. Before being admitted to the Cyprus Bar, he was called to the Bar of England & Wales. Since 2017 he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
