Constantinos handles cross border disputes and construction claims representing clients in international as well as local commercial arbitrations.

Experience includes:

  • Representing Contractors in arbitrations relating to luxury developments, public buildings as well as sewage and other civil projects.
  • Representing parties in shareholders dispute before the LCIA were various ancillary orders and remedies were sought in Cyprus in aid of Arbitral proceedings where jurisdictional as well as procedural matters were tried.
  • Acting for Claimants in an application to register an ICC judgment secured abroad were public order issues relating to fraud and bribery where considered.
  • Advising on documentation for large scale construction projects especially in relation to adjudication and arbitration provisions
  • Advising on the arbitrability of claims for delays especially in relation to the supply chain disruptions arising from Covid, regional conflicts and the Suez Canal.
  • Representing architects and QSs in Arbitrations and before the Cypriot Courts where negligence and duty of care issues are being raised.
  • Advising on arbitrability of disputes having in mind forum and conflicts of law principles.

Constantinos is admitted as an Advocate in Cyprus (1993) and as a Solicitor in England (1994). He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (2002).
