Christopher Clements
Chris is a partner in Deloitte’s forensic practice with expertise in forensic accounting since 1996. He has extensive experience in arbitration, determination, and mediation. Chris is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and holds a Joint Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Durham University.
He is also a member of The Expert Witness Institute, the Academy of Experts, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Recognised as a leading Arbitration Expert Witness by the Lexology Index, Chris is listed as a global thought leader in forensic accounting. He leads Deloitte’s arbitration practice in MENA, having previously held the same position in London. Chris has been involved in numerous international arbitration cases under various rules, including ICC, LCIA, JCAA, DAI, and DIAC, providing expert evidence in the UK, Canada, Denmark, France, India, Qatar, and Switzerland.
Chris has been appointed as a determiner in over 40 expert determination matters, including share valuation, earn-out calculations, and completion accounts disputes, with values in dispute exceeding $1bn. He has also served as an Arbitrator and Expert Valuation Assessor appointed by the President of ICAEW and has conducted financial mediations and expert determinations in high-value disputes.
