Amir Singh Pasrich
Amir Singh Pasrich is Counsel and Managing Partner to International Law Affiliates, a law firm he co-founded in 1998. He is a commercial litigator and has acted for various international clients including several foreign governments, airlines and Fortune 500 companies.
He has been Hony. Legal Advisor to two British High Commissioners and Agent of Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada as Legal Advisor to the Government of Canada. Mr. Pasrich has several reported judgments to his credit and has argued cases upto the Supreme Court of India as also various arbitration disputes in institutional and ad-hoc arbitrations.
His specialisations have included dispute-resolution for complex engineering disputes, aviation product liabilities, various types of commercial disputes and writ proceedings. His practice areas also include employment and labour law, maritime and transport, product liability and consumer law, diplomatic immunity, cross-border litigation, competition law and real estate.
He has acted as outside general counsel for all India to companies like Fabindia, Air France, KLM, Turkish Airlines, and as also international organisations like the Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society of Pennsylvania. Pasrich read law at Worcester College, Oxford University to receive his M.A. (Oxon) in Jurisprudence and while he was there, he captained the Oxford University Polo team. He also plays squash, tennis and golf. Pasrich lives in New Delhi and is married to Shivani Wazir Pasrich, they have two daughters. Ameera Nanki is a national champion and presently an international equestrian with FEI credentials. Ayesha Naina is a law student in her second year, an artist and a competent aerialist.
