Alexandros Gavrielides is a Partner at Scordis, Papapetrou & Co LLC since 2005. He has more than 20 years’ experience in handling complex civil and commercial litigation. Ηis main areas of practice are multijurisdictional disputes, civil fraud and corporate disputes.

He is a graduate of the University of Oxford, having obtained a B.A. in Jurisprudence with First Class Honours in 1999 and the B.C.L. in 2000. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2001 and admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2002.

He is frequently consulted by international law firms in relation to commercial and corporate proceedings brought or intended to be brought in Cyprus. He has acted as counsel in a number of international arbitrations and has given evidence as an expert on Cypriot civil law in proceedings before the English Commercial Court as well as in international arbitral proceedings.
